My First Craft Fair!
Denver was going to have a county fair back in the day, but then The Civil War broke out. The land that Denver put aside for the fair then became City Park and they just never got around to having a fair.
Growing up in Vermont I have great memories of going to fairs and I haven’t been to one in a long time. Although I’m pretty sure that nothing can live up to the spectacularness that is the Tunbridge World’s Fair. It’s still going to be pretty fun. The Denver County Fair is going to have all sorts of cool games, rides and attractions. Some of the highlights (according to me) will be:
A freak show
Cats: Mr. Bigglesworth Look-a-Like
Best “County Fair” Drag Queen
and a Cheesburger King and Queen
I can’t wait!
Definitely come check out the fair and the DHA booth in the Craft Pavilion. I’ll be working at the DHA booth on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-1pm, so please come by and say hi. Hope to see you there!
